ps: The old English rose comes from the Latin rosa and is probably from Italian and Greek dialects rhodon and most likely from the Persian root vrda - once again reinforcing the notion that (even if the plant is originally from the area of China) the name rose was invented in Iran!
pps: the title is a Swedish proverb and a lovely sentiment about the one who makes you feel special.
